Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum
新横浜ラーメン博物館
Opened in 1994, the world's first food-themed amusement park dedicated to ramen. The basement floor recreates a townscape from 1958, and visitors can sample and compare ramen from famous shops across Japan.
The world's first ramen food theme park
Opened in 1994 under the concept of "bringing here the ramen you can't go visit," the basement level meticulously recreates a downtown Tokyo streetscape from around 1958. In this retro atmosphere, visitors can sample the flavors of popular ramen shops from all across Japan.
Famous shops from across the country gathered in one place
Eight famous ramen shops from all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, rotate through the museum depending on the season. Visitors can also enjoy sampling multiple shops using "mini ramen" portions.
