Cupnoodles Museum Yokohama
カップヌードルミュージアム横浜
Officially named the "Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum Yokohama," this interactive museum is themed around the creativity of Momofuku Ando, the inventor of instant ramen. Popular activities include making the world's first instant ramen, "Chicken Ramen," by hand, and creating your own original cup noodle.
A hands-on museum for seeing, making, and learning
The museum offers exhibits and experiences for all ages, including the "Momofuku Ando Instant Noodles History Cube," which recreates the story of Chicken Ramen's invention, the "CUPNOODLES Drama Theater," the "Chicken Ramen Factory" where you knead the noodles by hand from scratch (reservation required), and "My CUPNOODLES Factory," where you can design your own cup and toppings to create an original cup of noodles.
A food attraction featuring cup noodles from around the world
The "CUPNOODLES Park," lined with food stalls recreating noodle dishes from around the world, is another highlight. The museum shop also sells exclusive goods available only here.
