An observation tower adjacent to Yamashita Park. Built in 1961 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Port of Yokohama, its observation floor at 100m offers sweeping views of Yokohama Port, Minato Mirai, and the Bay Bridge.

Built in 1961 as a commemorative project for the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Port of Yokohama. It once also served as a lighthouse, and was Guinness-certified as the world's tallest lighthouse. Following renovations, it is now beloved as a tourist facility with observation floors, a cafe, and shops.
Views beyond Yamashita Park
From the observation floor, visitors can see the Minato Mirai skyline beyond Yamashita Park and the Hikawa Maru, all the way to the Yokohama Bay Bridge. After sunset, it is lit up, making it one of the night-view spots around Yamashita Park.
