Komachi-dori Street
小町通り
A roughly 360-meter shopping street running from Kamakura Station's east exit toward Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. Lined with souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants, and boutiques, it's a classic Kamakura sightseeing spot perfect for snacking your way along. It's also a great place to find Kamakura-style sweets and Kamakura-bori lacquerware crafts.

Kamakura croquettes, Hato Sable cookies, tofu soft-serve, Enoden monaka wafers, whitebait rice bowls — this is where Kamakura's signature street food gathers. Lines can form for the famous Kamakura croquettes and Hato Sable in particular. Snacking your way down the street is the classic way to enjoy it.

From traditional crafts like Kamakura-bori lacquerware and Kamakura-kiriko cut glass to modern accessories and fashion goods, the selection is wide. Many shops also sell lucky charms and amulets from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine.
