Harbor View Park

港の見える丘公園

An observation park on a bluff overlooking Yokohama Port and the Yokohama Bay Bridge. Made up of three areas—the France Hill district, Observation Plaza district, and England Hill district—it is a hub for Yamate sightseeing, also known for its rose garden views.

An observation park made up of three areas

The park consists of three areas: the "France Hill district," which retains the remains of the former French Consulate; the "Observation Plaza district," with an observation deck offering sweeping views of the Yokohama Bay Bridge; and the "England Hill district," home to three rose gardens including a garden of English roses.

A starting point for touring roses and Yamate's Western-style houses

Roses in the garden bloom in spring and autumn, drawing large crowds of visitors. Around the park are the Osaragi Jiro Memorial Museum, the Kanagawa Museum of Modern Literature, the British House, and Yamate 111, making it a convenient starting point for touring Yamate's Western-style houses.
